Megan Fox recently slammed Michael Bay for focusing more on special effects than acting in the 2007 blockbuster but Michael says her comments are "ridiculous" and should be ignored.

Michael – who recast Megan in this summer’s sequel ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ – said: "Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do.

"You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, ‘OK Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.’ "

Michael thinks Megan should also show more gratitude towards him for helping to launch her movie career.

He added to Us Weekly magazine: "Nick Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in ‘Armageddon’. Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did ‘Transformers’ – and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from ‘Bad Boys’.

Talking about her role in ‘Transformers’ Megan previously said: "I mean, I can’t s**t on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don’t want to blow smoke up people’s a*s. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting."

Susan Boyle’s songs have been praised by Simon Cowell.

The judge has been working with the Britain’s Got Talent star, 48, in the studio.

‘She sounds fantastic on record,’ says Simon, 49. ‘It’s not all going to be show tunes. It’s not an obvious record but so far, it’s good.

‘She’s got a really good recording voice and I’m going to take my time. She’s happy and I think she’s enjoying the process.’

Meanwhile, Simon has rubbished reports he’s going to quit The X Factor after the next series.

‘Nothing is going to change,’ he tells the Daily Record. ‘We are going to keep all the partnerships.

Landon Donovan, who captains Galaxy in Beckham’s absence, has blasted the England international, describing life at the club as “f****** miserable” since he joined.

Donovan, 27, slammed both Beckham’s leadership qualities and the fact he earns so much cash with the American outfit.

The US international said: “Does the fact that he earns that much more money come into it? Yeah.

“If someone’s paying you more than anybody in the league, more than double anybody in the league, the least we expect is that you show up to every game, whether you are suspended or not.”

Hilary Duff is joining the cast of Gossip Girl!

The actress will join the series for a multi-episode story arc this fall, the CW confirms to Usmagazine.com.

Duff, 21, will play a movie star named Olivia Burke who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional, out-of-the-spotlight college experience. She will be roommates with Vanessa (played by Jessica Szohr).

Duff will first appear on the hit CW show during next season’s fourth episode, scheduled to air Oct. 5.

Exhausted hip-hop star Lil Wayne has been forced to postpone his forthcoming European tour after doctors ordered him to rest.

The rapper was due to kick off the trek on Thursday in Paris, France with a string of dates to follow over the next ten days, including two shows in London. However, the 26-year-old star, real name Dwayne Carter, has pulled out of the concerts because he needs a "doctor-mandated rest."

In a statement, a tour spokesman says, "Multi-platinum selling, Grammy Award -winning artist Lil Wayne regrets to announce the postponement of his forthcoming European shows due to illness. Wayne, his band and crew arrived in Europe with full intention of performing but were forced to cancel the dates due to doctor-mandated rest."

"Management is actively working on rescheduling the shows and expects to have a new set of dates confirmed for later in year. Lil Wayne extends an apology to his fans for the short notice of this postponement, but looks forward to returning for the performances and visitation with his fans. Fans should hold onto their tickets and wait for news of rescheduled dates."

Kate Moss who has been dating The Kills rocker since summer 2007 – has sparked rumours the pair are planning to wed after she was spotted wearing an impressive diamond on her ring finger during a romantic trip to Paris, France.

A source said: "Kate and Jamie looked totally loved-up. Jamie took her to the trendy La Maison Du Caviar restaurant for a romantic lunch.

"People kept noticing the ring on her engagement finger but she didn’t say anything."

This is not the first time it has been reported the British beauty and the 40-year-old musician are set to tie the knot.
