Katy Perry and her Gym Class Heroes beau Travis McCoy have split after a year of dating, a source close to Perry confirmed to Usmagazine.com Friday.

“It’s sad, but they were fighting a lot because they never saw each other and now she is going on tour,” the source told Us. “She just needed a clear head. It’s been non-stop work for her.”

“We fight every night, now that’s not kosher. I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer. And wake up to be greeted by an argument again, You act like you’re 10…My friends always tell me how I’m lucky to possess the best looking girl in the whole U.S….it seems like just two years back when we were bonded and not pierced, but now I keep itchin’ to jet,” he wrote.

In December, Perry — who gained worldwide fame in 2008 with her hit “I Kissed a Girl” — told Us they weren’t planning a walk down the aisle any time soon.

Joe Jonas and ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift will be seeing in the New Year together.

The teen heartthrob, 19, dumped the country music star, 18, over the summer after a brief romance.

But they’ll be reunited when they both perform on ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

Natasha Bedingfield, Pussycat Dolls and Solange Knowles will also make an appearance.

Joe is now thought to be dating actress Camilla Belle.

When asked in the new issue of Your Prom magazine who her “celeb dream date” is, the 19-year-old country crooner reveals it’s Gossip Girl hottie Chace 23.

Swift admits to mixing business with pleasure. “I like to write about boys and relationships,” Swift told writer Antonia Van Der Meer. ”I write songs about the things that happen to me, because it helps me figure them out. Writing songs is like breathing for me.”

Swift also dished about kissing. “I was 15 and the oldest out of all my friends to have not kissed a guy,” Swift admitted about her first smooch.

Perhaps a Swift-Crawford kiss can happen sometime. It’s not like Crawford doesn’t know a thing or two about country singers. Not only did he grow up in Texas, but he and Carrie Underwood dated for about eight months before breaking up in March.

LONDON - Madonna has settled her divorce with ex-husband Guy Ritchie by also parting with at least 50 million pounds ($76 million), the singer’s spokeswoman said Monday.

Liz Rosenberg told The Associated Press the settlement was in the range of 50 million to 60 million pounds ($76 million to $92 million) as part of their divorce agreement, a figure she said included the value of the couple’s country home, Ashcombe House in western England, which Ritchie will keep.

Rosenberg said the couple’s west London pub — the Punchbowl — would also remain with Ritchie.

George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend says dating the star was “nerve-wracking and stressful”.

Sarah Larson split from the star earlier this year after an almost 12-month relationship, but has admitted she felt extremely self-conscious whenever they went out in public together.

Asked how it felt to have dated the “sexiest man alive”, Sarah said: “No pressure. It was a little nerve-wracking because you know, everybody loves George, and so, to be in the public eye like that, it was a little bit stressful.

Sarah and George met when she was working as a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas.

The pair soon started dating, with Sarah becoming the first girlfriend George had taken to the Oscars.

Although Sarah refused to comment on who instigated their split, she did confirm it happened “quickly” and revealed the pair are no longer intouch.

Kevin Federline has been called many things in the nearly five years since Britney Spears walked into his life: boy toy, gold-digger, wannabe rapper, partier. These days he answers to one name: Daddy.

Since splitting with Spears in 2006 – and then watching in fear as she went through her very public breakdown – the former backup dancer, 30, has channeled all of his energy into their sons Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2. Do you remember when you first met Britney?
I met her at a club in Hollywood, Joseph`s. Our eyes met and that was it. We just hit it off right away. I learned real fast how much of a whirlwind the press and everything was.

What are your happiest memories of the marriage?
Well, getting married. I never thought that I would get married but it wound up happening. That was a really, really, happy, exciting moment. I pretty much realized that I was giving my life to her, and I was doing it without question.

What went wrong?
It`s hard enough to be in a marriage, and then have a kid, then kids, it changes everything. For me, I`d become more concerned with my children. Not that I ignored Britney, but my kids are always most important … I mean, we were having complications. I didn`t give her an ultimatum, but I was trying to work stuff out with her, and she didn`t even talk to me or anything and went behind my back and filed [for divorce]. [I was] completely blindsided.

A lot of people assumed you fought for custody of the kids because of money.
My first question to [my lawyer] was, “Am I ever going to be able to see my children?” I told him that I would spend every last dime that I had to make sure that my children are okay. That`s all that mattered. I didn`t know how much power Britney had. That really scared me.

How did you react in January when Britney locked herself in the bathroom with Jayden and was later taken to the hospital on a gurney?
That whole night is a blur. You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them. I was very, very worried for her `cause I care about her. That`s the mother of my children. Just because I`m not in love with her doesn`t mean that I don`t love her. I`m definitely rooting for her. There`s nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.

Are things getting better?
Oh, man, it`s totally turning around. It works out that [the kids] get to see her. There`s structure over there, there`s structure at my house. We`re trying to keep the same type of schedule. It doesn`t have to be completely perfect, but the foundation is there.

Amy Winehouse’s husband says he wants out of their marriage – for her sake.

“I have to let her go to save her life,” Blake Fielder-Civil – who is currently in rehab after being released from jail in November – told a British newspaper Sunday. “I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love.”

During the interview with the News of the World, Fielder-Civil also admits that he “introduced” the 25-year-old Winehouse to crack and heroin. (Audio files from portions of the chat are available on the paper’s Web site.)

The former video production assistant – who wed Winehouse in 2007 – denies being after the singer’s money and says he will not “fight her for anything.”

Winehouse’s U.K. spokesman, Chris Goodman, says he is unaware of anything formal underway to end the marriage.

Winehouse has not visited her husband at the rehab center where he was sent as a condition of his early release. He spent almost a year behind bars after pleading guilty to charges of assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
