The Girls Aloud star claims the best thing about being in the British girl group is the variety of glamorous footwear she gets to wear.

She said: “The great stuff is dressing up. I’ve suddenly developed this thing for shoes that I never had.”

Despite her new found obsession with shoes, Cheryl doesn’t consider herself a style icon and believes people put too much emphasis on fashion.

She added: “It’s better to go with your body shape than going for something a supermodel would wear. I think people take the importance of fashion a bit too far. People can wear what they want, when they want.”

After becoming the face of Chanel’s autumn/winter fashion collection, supermodel Claudia Schiffer is adding another string to her bow by launching her own range of beauty products next summer.  They will apparently be sold alongside the line of jewellery that already bears her name.

Victoria Beckham admits she chooses her outfits a day in advance - when she’s tucked up in bed.

‘I was talking to Gordon Ramsay and David about this the other day and they’re the same,’ she says.

‘Gordon visualises a meal, then figures out how to prepare it. David visualises the goal.

‘I’ll lie in bed and think, what kind of look do I want to go for tomorrow? Then I find the pieces in my mind to create it.’

Victoria, 34, says she was destined to become a fashionista.

‘I was never that good a singer but I think I am good at fashion,’ she tells The Times.

‘Even when I was at school, where I was bullied - sometimes physically, sometimes verbally - I was always customising my uniform.

Kanye West is to embark on a fashion internship in London.

The millionaire rapper is so determined to carve out a successful career designing clothes he is willing to start from the bottom and has been writing to fashion houses in Europe - including Louis Vuitton on London’s Bond Street - asking for experience.

Kanye said: “I’m going to go and take an internship and just do something that’s like completely normal, and just rap at the weekends or something.”

He absolutely loves London and wants to absorb the fashion over here

A source said: “He’s applying at Louis Vuitton, Raf Simons and others. Everyone is surprised at just how seriously Kanye is taking his fashion dream.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters Life!) – Lingerie model Karolina Kurkova has been voted the world`s sexiest woman by E! entertainment television, beating sultry actresses Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson for the honor.
Czech Kurkova, ranked by Forbes magazine as one of the world`s highest paid models, was dubbed by E! as “she of the mysterious belly button” due to media speculation about what appears to be an unusually smooth navel.

Second place also went to a supermodel, Israeli Bar Rafaeli, who has been linked to actor Leonardo DiCaprio, while Jolie, who recently gave birth to twins, was in third place.

“Far from being a US-centric list, you`ll find a face, and body, from six continents,” E! said in a statement.

Heidi Klum says marriage has made her more stylish.

The German supermodel revealed tying the knot with British singer Seal inspired her to make more of an effort with her fashion choices.

She said: “I’ve gotten more stylish since I’ve been with my husband. I was always making fun of him because he has so many leather coats, jackets and shoes. But he looks hot. I want to look good for him. So I kind of stepped it up a bit.”
