Jennifer Aniston says the relationship she has with her pet dogs is stronger than relationship she will ever have with a man.

The actress - who is divorced from Brad Pitt and currently dating singer John Mayer - owns two pooches, Norman and Dolly.

And Aniston, 39 - who stars alongside Owen Wilson in new puppy love film Marley & Me - is adamant she will value her pet dogs more than the men in her life.

She reveals, “Men come and go but there really is no relationship like the one you have with a dog - and then they don`t live as long as they should.

The actress made a confession about her sexy GQ cover when she appeared on The View on Wednesday.

“What happened to the girl next door from Friends?” Barbara Walters asked, holding up the January issue, where Aniston appears wearing only a tie.

“She’s there! Photoshopped!” Aniston, 39, replied.

At one point, a laughing Aniston flipped the cover over, saying, “let’s put this down.”

Her take on what happened?

“There was a story behind this,” the Marley & Me star explained. “This had a whole concept. It was going to be in various stages of undress. There was going to be me in a gown and men in tuxedos. And then it would be me wearing the man’s shirt. And he would have no shirt on. And then they were supposed to get naked! Somehow I don’t know what happened!”

In a new interview with GQ - one which finds Jennifer in nothing but a necktie on the magazine’s cover - the star of the Christmas-due film, “Marley & Me,” once again tackled questions about her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s partner, Angelina.

And Jennifer’s got even more revealing than last month’s Vogue feature, which found her calling Angelina’s year-old remarks about working with Brad on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” “really uncool.”

For starters, Jennifer called stories related to herself, Brad and Angelina the “insane Bermuda Triangle.”

And later, she admitted she does not speak to Angelina.

“No. Nuh-uh,” she told GQ, who asked if the two actresses talk.

Jennifer hinted that future conversations might be a bridge the two won’t be crossing any time soon either.

On the way John thinks: “He’s a rare one. He is extraordinary and it is wonderful to watch him… the way his brain works and the way he thinks thoughts… it’s beautiful.”

On having a thing for the musically inclined: “It’s an amazing thing to watch a musician think. I don’t know many musicians but when his guitar is on him it’s just like a channel. It’s something I’ve never ever seen before.”

On not understanding the continued public interest in her break-up with Brad Pitt: “I’m baffled by it and it makes no sense to me…. Everybody goes through tough times… You’ve just got to figure out how to get through them… It’s my history and my memory. I used to really take things personally. It took me some time to figure this out but if you can be truthful and honest with who you are, then you have a much easier time walking through life.”

On her finances: “I don’t wake up in the morning, stretch my arms and say, ‘Oh, I’m wealthy.’ I just know I’m extremely fortunate and I have the good fortune to take care of my family, to give to causes that matter to me and to contribute in ways not everybody can. I’ve never been someone to have money as my goal. I just wanted to work.”

On having her own kids some day: “I feel it’s in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way, so it was great to dip the toe in [for Marley & Me]. I want to have children. That’s my plan.”

Jennifer Aniston`s lawyers have been alerted to a calendar controversy after a bra-less photo of the actress, wearing a wet T-shirt, was used without her permission or knowledge.

The desktop calendar features one shot of the star beneath a cascading waterfall - with her nipples on display.

But the brains behind the 2009 Aniston calendar reportedly failed to clear that and other shots used in it.

A spokesman for the actress tells Eonline. com, “All the photos were from magazine shoots, and the rights belong to the photographers. I have referred this to her attorneys.”

The ‘Marley and Me’ actress - who is currently dating musician John Mayer - is feeling broody and is keen to start a family as soon as possible.

She said: “I feel like becoming a mother is in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some ways - or it’s something I long for.”
