Courteney Cox found herself unable to take her eyes off DJ Samantha Ronson during a recent visit to a Los Angeles bar - but can’t explain her fascination with Lindsay Lohan’s girlfriend.

The former Friends star was dining with Jennifer Aniston at The Sunset Tower Hotel in the city when she noticed Ronson sitting at a nearby table.

And Cox found herself inexplicably drawn to the DJ.

She tells Britain’s Marie Claire magazine, “Why are people so fascinated with celebrity? I don’t know… Do I wanna know about her (Ronson)? Well, yeah, a little bit. I do. What’s the deal? I haven’t quite figured it out myself.”

Actress Lindsay Lohan and her lesbian DJ partner Samantha Ronson have been house hunting in the glitzy United Arab Emirates paradise of Dubai in a bid to beat the cameras.

The pair reportedly fell in love with glamorous Palm Island resort after Ronson performed at the nearby luxurious Atlantis Hotel last year, according to British tabloid the Daily Mirror.

And the Mean Girls star is eager to capitalise on a lack of paparazzi in the Middle-Eastern state by snapping up a lavish $2.18 million (GBP1.5 million) pad.

A source tells the publication, “Lindsay and Sam loved the tacky glitziness of Dubai. There is so much money and opulence out there it really impressed Lindsay - she can be quite materialistic like that. Despite her fair skin, Lindsay loves the beach and sunshine.

“And with the property market over there probably the only place where there still seems to be a boom, she thinks it will be a wise investment.

Lindsay Lohan has sparked concerns for her health after losing 14lbs.

The actress - who denied rumours she was suffering from an eating disorder after dropping to a size zero three years ago - has worried pals who have seen her size 10-12 frame reduced to a tiny size six.

A source told Britain’s Star magazine: “She is thinner than ever and we are concerned she is taking it too far.

“Lindsay’s weight has always fluctuated, but since falling in love with Samantha Ronson - who is naturally very slim - Lindsay seems desperate to lose more weight.”

Lindsay, who was treated for drug and alcohol addiction last year, insists she has a healthy diet which includes “drinking buckets of green tea” and “eating fresh fruit smoothies with aloe vera, sushi, pasta salad and lots of green vegetables such as broccoli and spinach”.

Though drama always seems to follow these two wherever they go, yesterday (December 26) looked to be a good day for Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.

Getting their daily dose of caffeine, the “Mean Girls” actress and her deejay girlfriend were spotted hitting up the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in West Hollywood, California.

At one point, LiLo leaned over and gave Sam a full-on hug as they returned to their chauffeured SUV, both ladies looking lovely in their matching black leather jacket.

Miss Lohan was also spotted indulging her inner-bargain-shopper at a post-Christmas sale at Neiman Marcus department store yesterday afternoon.

As for their Christmas celebration, Lindsay and Samantha were spotted dining at Twin Dragon Chinese restaurant before hitting up a dive bar in Los Feliz.

Samantha Ronson is reportedly suffering from depression. The 31-year-old DJ was accompanied by girlfriend Lindsay Lohan as she visited Los Angeles` Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Sunday - less than a day after it was reported she had been making frantic phone calls to friends complaining of stress and exhaustion.

A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: “Samantha was calling around. She has been suffering from depression and from lack of food and sleep. Lindsay has been helping her through this as she has been through it herself two years ago.”

Doctors were reportedly called to Samantha`s home shortly before she visited the medical facility.

Despite her trip to Cedars-Sinai being described as “relatively minor,” witnesses say Samantha was taken into the hospital in a wheelchair through the emergency entrance.

Lindsay Lohan is begging the paparazzi to stop asking her if she’s split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson - assuring fans she’d write the news herself on her blog if they ever broke-up.

Rumours have swirled about the couple’s relationship status since they began dating earlier this year (08).

They have repeatedly denied splitting, and Lohan has once again taken to her MySpace.com blog to “prove all the liars wrong” - less than a week after slamming previous break-up reports.

Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan had  a physical fight during a night out in London.

DJ Samantha reportedly flew into a jealous rage when she spotted girlfriend Lindsay flirting and dancing erotically with her ex-boyfriend, British model Calum Best, at exclusive nightclub Boujis on Tuesday (18.11.08), and stormed over to confront the pair.

A source said: “Sam had had a few cocktails earlier in the evening and was perhaps a little more emotional than usual.

An anti-fur campaigner doused Lindsay Lohan in flour on Friday evening in Paris People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals announced in a statement.

The organization said the actress was “showered” with cooking powder, while at a Paris nightclub.

“The actor, who was on her way into the VIP room on the Champs-Elyses just after 1 AM early Saturday, had an entire bag of flour dumped over her head by a French fur foe who shouted, ‘Lindsay Lohan–fur hag!’” PETA said in a statement released to Access Hollywood.

They claim the actress, who was in London earlier this week with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, before moving on to Paris alongside the celebrity DJ, wore multiple fur coats this week, angering activists.
